New Gay Show - The New Normal

I just saw a preview clip of a new show airing this fall on NBC. Its called The New Normal. Its about a gay male couple wanting to have a child and the relationship they form with their surrogate. It seems like a sweet show and the sexy Justin Bartha plays one of the gay men. I am excited to check this show out and commend NBC for doing a show about a gay male relationship and proving "love is love" as the surrogate says when asked about giving birth to a child to be raised by gay men.

There is also reportedly another gay related show starting Michael Urie of Ugly Betty fame called Partners also coming out.  Will keep tabs on both these shows as  the fall season approaches.  With the axing of GCB, we need all the gay shows and characters we can get!

GCB Canceled

GCB is unofficially canceled.  Internet sources have posted information from cast members, such as Leslie Bibs' site that indicate GCB has been canceled by ABC.  This is sad for multiple reasons.  This show had the chance to be a gay fav with all the campyness and the hot guys, especially, Matt Deklin who played Blake, a married gay man in a open relationship with his wife.  Deklin was smoking hot!  The show also featured other hotties such as ex-Jag star, David James Elliot and former soap opera actor, Eric Winter.  I am thinking about starting a petition on this site, or maybe Facebook to try to save the show.  If anyone read this post and thinks its a good idea, please leave me info in the comments.
